Call for Artists: Womanly @ Manly Beach

Are you a T-Shirt Designer? Or ever wanted to design a T-Shirt? Of course you have. The world’s most biggest T-Shirts ‘clothes line’ public art event is coming to the Manly (Manly Arts Festival 2009 in September). Artists are invited to submit a T-Shirt Design to be involved in this outdoor exhibition at Manly Beach.

The theme for the Design Competition is ‘Womanly’ and aims to bring a female friendly VIBE to Manly.

Over 100 talented artists and designers will have the opportunity to exhibit a wearable piece of art as part of the ‘Womanly @ Manly Beach’ event taking place in Manly NSW on Sunday 27 September from 9.30 – 3.30 pm.

A clothesline at the beachfront will artistically connect Manly Wharf & Manly Art Gallery & museum. You can meet the artists & buy a unique wearable piece of art! The event will tie in with the Northern Beaches Artforum on that day (10 - 3 pm).

The exhibition is hosted and organised by Creative Mums www.creativemums.com.au. The Australian wide network for Mums with Creative Professions.

Submissions are open to ALL.

(If you are not a T-Shirt Designer/Printer – we suggest to become a member (for free) of www.redbubble.com.au and your can have your design directly printed on a T-Shirt as a real professional design!)
