CYBER SENSE for CYBER SAFETY- Information Forum - IMPORTANT FACTS, ADVICE AND STRATEGIES FOR PARENTS, TEACHERS AND CHILDREN ON INTERNET SAFETY
Educational talks for parents, teachers and children to be held at this year’s International Digital Entertainment Festival taking place at the Royal Exhibition Building, Carlton on Sat 31st October.
While the technological evolution has opened up many exciting new avenues, it is has also left young internet users exposed to an array of potential risks and dangers. With social networking, blog spots, emails, texts and chat rooms re-defining the way in which children interact with one another, as well as other users of the internet, Cyber safety is an area of increasing importance for the new-age parent and teacher.
With several years experience in working with teachers and students to help school's deal with bullying and cyber harassment, Natalie Brewer invites educators, parents and young people to attend a highly relevant and hand’s on 45 information session providing tips, strategies, and advice on how to actively and emotionally manage cyber bullying.

CYBER SENSE for CYBER SAFETY is part of the International Digital Entertainment Festival 2009 which runs from 30 October – 1 November.
