This initiative is a world-first and is one of the most exciting opportunities currently available to schools. It is both a community-building enterprise and an ethical fundraiser. No longer will parents be asked to purchase something they don't really need or want, and no longer will children be sent home with boxes of chocolates and donuts or books of raffle tickets.

Each school is provided with a personalised "social club". The social club then provides the families and friends of the school with membership to a valuable print and web based resource offering superior services and products at greatly reduced prices. The secure online shop allows members to browse and shop at their convenience, with most products priced at 75% of their recommended retail price providing real value for members. In recognition of the relationship, SCHOOL SOCIAL CLUBS will donate a percentage of all web store sales back to the nominated cause on a quarterly basis. This provides a valuable source of ongoing income for fundraising and a fun and fulfilling shopping experience to boot!

The School Social Clubs initiative is the brainchild of an ingenious mum of two, Donna Perry, who was sick of all the measly and ineffective fundraising efforts at her kids' school. She wanted to create an opportunity for schools, preschools, clubs and other organisations to fundraise at the same time as providing people with a true and valuable service.

The initiative is national and open to schools, day cares centres, pre schools, kindergartens etc - at absolutely no cost and minimum fuss for the school body. All they need to do is agree to participate and Donna and her team will take care of the rest!
