Happy Baby Fresh Feeding/Smart Portions and Steam’N’Go product range is BPA Free!

Clarification Detail:
The symbol #7 is used to indicate a product made with mixed material. Since the freezer tray (and other products in the range) is made with mixed materials being PP which is polypropelene + TPE, a rubberlike, soft material, therefore # 7 is engraved on this item inside the Recycle logo. It is important to retain this mark on our range as it is used for recycling identification and separation.

We understand that general public might associate a product with mark 7 is made of PolyCarbonate PC – this is the material that causes all the worry in relation to leaching of the chemical BPA, but this mark also stands for other materials which are not listed in mark 1-6 (please see below) and that is why it is sometimes used on products that have PC in them. Sanbrook can CONFIRM that all the materials used in producing the following Happy Baby products are BPA free:

  • Fresh Feeding Solutions/Smart Portions and
  • Steam’N’Go lines including co-ordinating silicone soothers.

If consumers are concerned, please confirm the above and that those products are BPA free and let them know our website and packaging will be updated soon to reflect this important information.
