makeUwell WaterWell is reusable and 100% recyclable made using lightweight stainless steel which is environmentally friendly and an ideal substitute to plastic bottles and BPA FREE.

makeUwell WaterWells have been designed to enable you to respect the environment, allowing you NOT to use plastic bottles to hold your liquids. Made with high-quality 18/8 stainless steel more commonly know as 304 food-grade stainless steel.

Stainless steel bottles are ideal for: family outings, school, baby sippy cup, office, camping, gym, hiking, skiing, fishing, any outdoor pursuits.

Stainless steel is one of the most hygienic materials and is used in all kinds of food preparation, production and transportation. Stainless steel is non porous, therefore resists the build up of grime and bacteria. Stainless steel is commonly used for professional kitchen areas such as tables, containers, food utensils, spatulas, knives spoons etc.

A makeUwell WaterWell can be used to hold cold smoothies or warm soups, don’t use hot liquid in them as they are single-walled and are also not suitable for the freezer. They can be used for acidic beverages such as apple juice or orange juice as well as alcohol.

The sports cap is made of plastic not stainless steel to protect your teeth and is made with polypropylene #5 plastic which does leach any nasty chemicals.

Why is stainless steel better than aluminum?
Aluminum leaches toxic chemicals when it comes in contact with anything acidic. Therefore, aluminum has to be lined with something to make sure the contents are safe for drinking. Usually it is lined with plastic (which can leach chemicals) or baked on epoxy or ceramic which can crack.

What is Cool about Stainless Steel?
Stainless steel is an iron-containing alloy, made from some of the basic elements found on earth: such as iron ore, chromium, silicon, nickel, carbon, nitrogen, and manganese. Properties of the final alloy are tailored by varying amounts of these elements. There are more than 57 stainless steels recognised as standard alloys on the markets.

makeUwell WaterWells are constructed from high quality sanitary grade 304 stainless steel which has a low nickel content. Stainless steel has excellent resistance to stain or rust due to its chromium content making it a material of choice among the food processing, dairy and brewery industries.

As well as being BPA free (hormone disruptive chemical found in plastic), you can refill them again and again with no need to worry about all the waste that goes into producing and transporting plastic-bottled water.

It’s easy to use a marker or have your bottle engraved with your child’s initial on the bottle so it doesn’t go astray... The paint use on the outside of the bottle is a resin-based finish that’s mostly water and is totally free of lead and toxic chemicals. They are dishwasher safe and are also easy to clean with a bottle brush and mild soap or we recommend Naturally Clean Sparkle for cleaning.
