Last chance for women to score a $30,000+ Business and Life Makeover

Entries for the national 2009 Business and Life Makeover Awards close on Friday, June 26, 2009.

Run by popular women’s networking organisation, Essentially for Women, the awards are designed to provide hope, motivation and inspiration to Australian women facing difficult economic times.

Founder of Essentially for Women, Lyndsey Baigent said the economic down turn was having a real impact on women and their families.

“I know these difficult times are starting to bite – I hear about it every day from our members and those who attend our events,” said Ms Baigent.

“Money is tight, families are facing emotional turmoil, and women are being forced to either find a job or start earning an income from home,” she said.

“That’s why the Business and Life Makeover is so important – I want to spread a message of hope and inspiration.”

The lucky grand prize winner will receive more than $30,000 in prizes designed to totally transform her life and business.

Prizes include a complete image makeover including stylist, skincare, clothing, jewellery and photographs; as well as a business makeover including business coaching, mentoring, publicity, web and graphic design, and personalised business products.

“The Awards are designed to totally transform the business and life of the winner, over a 12 month period,” said Ms Baigent.

“It will be a completely life changing experience,” she said.

“I appreciate how tough it can be starting your own business and this program is everything I wish I’d had starting out,” said Ms Baigent.

“Essentially for Women inspires, empowers and educates women, and these Awards are another way we in which we can have a positive impact on the lives of women around the country.”

“My aim with Essentially for Women is to encourage and support women, have fun, and make a difference to the lives of others.”

The Awards include a grand prize, second prize, third prize and runners up prizes.

Entries to the Awards close on June 26, 2009, with a gala Awards Dinner Presentation Dinner in Brisbane on September 12, 2009.

The Awards Presentation Dinner will be an opportunity to raise money for the group’s chosen charity for 2009, Butterfly Kid, which offers support, resources and information for families and children with special needs.

Entry is open to any woman in Australia who is aged over 18 and who is not part of a franchise. Judges will review applications and those who progress to the next stage will be interviewed next month. Finalists will be determined by the end of July and invited to attend the Awards Presentation Dinner. Judges are looking to understand how a business operates, what action entrants have taken, and what their vision for future growth of the business.

More information, including the entry form and conditions are available from www.businessandlifemakeover.com
